Camp fire celebrations

Guests enjoy a social evening around the camp fire followed by a dinner cooked over the open coals. Stories are shared from around the world as new friends are made in the Australian Bush. This was also part of a film shoot for our new add on an upcoming Scenic Drives of Australia DVD.

Nadine's Birthday

Happy Birthday to Nadine! Nadine is from Toronto in Canada and on a working holiday in Australia. She is helping out at Brooloo Park and loves working with the children who visit. Nadine has a family heritage connected to horses and is learning more herself about Natural Horsemanship techniques while working with Vince.
All the best for the year ahead. Nadine is with her friend Natalie and also with Kico from Argentina.

Kico the Goucho from Argentina

Kico from Argentina spent a month at Brooloo Park, working with Vince and our horses. He has been travelling the world and spending time with Horsemen/women. Kico also spent some time in Mongolia with the unique horses and horsemen over there, prior to travelling through Asia and onto Australia.
Many guests got to enjoy Kico's hospitality as he shared his knowledge and experiences with all those who crossed his path. We would like to thank Kico for his help while at Brooloo Park and it was a pleasure getting to know him. His relaxed manner and style put a smile on everyone's face!

Easter Camping at Brooloo Park

Camp site number 6...Coonoon Gibber Creek Crossing!

Our guests had a fantastic time and the children had a ball. The weather was perfect and the nights were just the right temperature for a great Australian camp fire. (Photos courtesy of Jo)

New Brooloo Park Sign

Thanks to Dad we now have our "official" Brooloo Park sign at the front entrance. He has done a fantastic job and we just need to add a couple of finishing touches.

Website

For those who would like to find out more about Brooloo Park please visit our website http://www.brooloopark.com/ . Vince runs a 'Vocational and Equine Training' program and more information can be found at http://www.vetcentreqld.com/ .

Friends and guests are welcome to come and visit for a day or perhaps stay longer. Be nurtured in nature at one of the Eco-camping sites or perhaps the 100 year old renovated Queensland Cottage (old farmhouse) is more to your liking. For those who participate in our rural training programs the old dairy has been converted into a "Ringers' Quarters" (bunkhouse style) with an old 'donkey' hot water system to keep some of the Australian Bush Heritage alive.
